Tests
The LAU Entrance Exams are normally based, like all other types of exams, on the basic knowledge that students acquire throughout their high school preparations. The Office of Testing Services provides applicants with a Test Preparation Material Booklet. These booklets are available upon request from the office.
The LAU Entrance Exam is composed of two separate tests.
- English Entrance Exam ( EEE ): An English proficiency test that determines the students' level of proficiency in the English Language.
- Placement Exam for Admissions to the Freshman and Sophomore levels.
The Freshman Exam is composed of: Math, Social Studies, and one of the following subject matters: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
The Sophomore Exams are as follows:
- General Science :Math Physics, and chemistry.
- Life Science: Math, and two science subjects.
- Literature and Humanities: Math, General Science, and Philosophy and Civilization.
- Sociology and Economy: Math, Sociology & Economics, Philosophy.
