Requirments For Admission

Admission to one of the Graduate programs at the Lebanese American University is granted only on a selective basis to students who have demonstrated distinct academic ability and motivation by meeting at least the minimum requirements described below. Meeting these requirements, however, is not a guarantee of admission, because of limited space and facilities.

Applicants must submit the following items:

  1. An application form.
  2. An official transcript of grades to be sent directly to the Admissions Office.
  3. Original of all educational and professional certificates.
  4. Recommendations from two professors who are familiar with the applicant’s academic performance. In case of work experience, a certificate of employment should also be supplied.
  5. Official scores of the TOEFL if taken.
  6. Official scores of the GMAT if taken.
  7. A Photocopy of the identity card or passport (same as nationality to be used in registration).
  8. Two recent passport-size photographs.
  9. A non-refundable application fee of US$50.

N.B.: Accepted or rejected applicants may not reclaim any of those documents.

An interview with the Graduate Admissions Council of the School concerned may at times be required.
